I&#039;d argue that in essence, the movie &quot;It Might Get Loud&quot; (trailer here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j28bjIHVB6M) is in fact, about design.  

The development of different rhythms, sounds, and effects are all about the effort to create an emotional connection with the audience. 

As was quoted in the trailer above:

&quot;It&#039;s very rare that he will use the same sound in 23 songs.&quot;

&quot;We&#039;re all attempting to share something with another human being.&quot;

Inspiration should come from many sources.  It&#039;s why I believe the design community needs to spend more time looking out into the world for inspiration and less time &quot;navel gazing.&quot;</description>
